How the course is delivered

Stage 2 – In-Centre Practical Training (3 Days)
What you’ll learn
- Safe isolation and working safely
- Initial verification of installations
- Periodic inspection and testing procedures
- Testing methods (continuity, insulation resistance, polarity, loop impedance, RCD testing)
- Fault finding and diagnosis
- Completing electrical certification correctly
- Interpreting results and identifying non-compliances
Who is this course for?
This course is designed for:
- Qualified electricians (Level 3 or equivalent)
- Electricians with practical experience on-site
- Those progressing into inspection and testing roles
- Learners working towards QS or supervisory positions
Entry requirements
- Minimum age: 18+
- Level 3 electrical qualification recommended
- Practical on-site experience required
If you do not meet these requirements, a skills scan may be required before enrolment
Course Duration
- Online learning: Flexible (complete at your own pace)
- In-centre training: 3 days
- Assessment: 1–1.5 days
