Stage 1 – Online Learning (Immediate Access)

  1. Principles of inspection and testing
  2. Initial verification
  3. Periodic inspection and reporting
  4. Safe isolation procedures
  5. Understanding certification (EIC, EICR, Minor Works)
  6. Testing methods and sequence

Complete this before attending centre

Stage 2 – In-Centre Practical Training (3 Days)

  1. Hands-on inspection and testing
  2. Use of testing equipment
  3. Practical application of testing procedures
  4. Fault finding techniques
  5. Completing certification under guidance

Stage 3 – Assessment Preparation & Exams (1–1.5 Days)

  1. Exam preparation and revision
  2. Written assessment
  3. Practical assessment
  4. Final guidance before completion

  • Qualified electricians (Level 3 or equivalent)

Entry requirements 

  • Minimum age: 18+
  • Level 3 electrical qualification recommended
  • Practical on-site experience required

 If you do not meet these requirements, a skills scan may be required before enrolment
